Quran Curriculum 1-10th Grades

QURAN DEPARTMENT HEAD:

The Qur’an and Arabic Language department

focuses on teaching students the memorization of

Qur’an and Duas (supplications).

1st-5th Grades:

Primarily focus on the memorization of Qur’an and Duas in Arabic with English translation. Students will also try to learn some names/attributes of ALLAH (SWT) and names of Prophet Muhammad (S)

6th-10th Grades:

Focus moves away from memorization and more towards the content of the Quran by studying selected portions of the Quran with meaning.

The end goal is to have the student develop a relationship with the Qur’an, to treat the Qur’an like a book of guidance and not just a book that only needs to be read on special occasions.
