For over five decades, the MCC Chicago Sunday School has been nurturing future Islamic leaders in the heart of Chicago. Since 1969, our weekend program has offered more than just academic learning—it has built a legacy rooted in faith, community, and personal development.
We welcome young learners from 1st grade (about age 5) through 10th grade, with classes held every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00–1:30 PM, starting September 7, 2025, and concluding June 7, 2026. Our curriculum covers Nazirah & Tajweed, Qur’an, Seerah & History, and Theology, providing students with a rich and comprehensive Islamic educational experience.
Beyond the classroom, the Parent–Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a pivotal role in enhancing student life and strengthening community bonds. Through fundraising, events, volunteer coordination, and serving as a bridge between parents and administration, the PTO ensures our school remains a supportive and engaging environment for families and educators alike.
Our leadership team is dedicated to excellence in Islamic education and student well-being. Guided by a shared vision and a commitment to serving the needs of our community—and adapting to our ever-changing world—we work together to keep MCC Chicago Sunday School thriving for generations to come.
